Yes. More is expected from men than women, especially today. However, it's not necessarily a bad thing. From what I've seen, more men have become interested in growth. Furthermore, more women are interested in one night stands due to hookup culture. This essentially means that as a man working on becoming a better version of yourself, you will see more women that are only interested in sex, rather than your time and resources. So there's less of a need to take women on dates. This dynamic is ideal for young men. Its all a matter of how you look at it.
