Was I wrong for telling a guy who wanted to call us boy/girlfriend first week lets go slow or is he wrong for his behavior in relation?

We're both in our 30s. I did NOTHING to lead him on. When met in a professional blouse and dress pants.

He wanted to call us boyfriend and girlfriend on the first day we'd met in person... and we'd only communicated via internet for a week prior. For reference with his previous girl it took months for that label.

When I mentioned taking it slow he proceeded to overreact and go on about me running off, etc.

And there's other things. Like last week he'd be blowing up my phone and now I barely hear anything. Maybe because Sunday I would not answer what I wanted for a wedding. Or maybe because I wasn't interested in still chatting when late and get up early (and he knows this)

You were in the wrong for saying let's go slow
He's in the wrong & best to block him
