Because the guy her age offers what? Six-pack abs and muscle at best and that's probably unlikely. This is a generation that wasn't allowed to work at 8 years old and buy a house at 18 like the boomers. They usually have jack shit once they're able to work and it's like starting from scratch. A nice young girl has options and if she's focused on security... she gonna go for the do-nothing pot smoker that's managed to get 8 hours at the fast food place or a guy that owns guns and cars, his house, and so much more?

Its odd on both ends. Why does she want someone old enough to be her dad and why does he want someone young enough to be his daughter. people into age gaps that big will always get the side eye from me

@DizzyDesii A big part of that has to do w/ peoples denial of what is actually attractive to woman. Reality is most woman are attracted to money power and status and typically men aren't going to have that until the reach their 30's, 40's, 50's. When you're younger it is natural to believe in the Disney fairytale of falling in love which is why people are always so confused. Practically it is much easier for me now to attract a 20 something then it was when I was 20. What society Hope's is that men don't realize that and for them to continue to be a victim of dating double standards.
