And all her friends and my friends all agreed that there was insane sexual tension between us?

How could they say that we were talking to different people but beside each other?

Sexual tension is often an unsaid thing associated with your body language. Sometimes. you can smell it... like it is obviously in the air. It is often a body energy thing. I've notice that kind of thing even in general at bars. You can feel it.

Do they have any reason to be making it up? Most people would not even mention it SO it must be obvious?

Maybe they misinterpreted the situation
