Girls who think you're ugly-- Why do you think that?

I have three reasons why I think I'm ugly.

1. My peers started calling me ugly in the 4th grade and didn't stop until I graduated. And they didn't just call me ugly, but made fun of certain aspects of my face and body. In fact, the only things I WASN'T made fun of for were my legs and eyes. Ever other part of me is ugly. After hearing that from multiple people for 10 years, why wouldn't I believe them?

2. No guy has ever approached me, asked me out, or flirted with me. Not one ever. I've dated before, but I had to ask those people out, and they all turned me down initially. I had to keep pressing them before I got dates. And I've never been called attractive, even by the boyfriends I did have.

3. Modeling is the family business. I am the only girl in this generation of family members who didn't get signed by a modeling agency. My mother tried to get me signed when I was younger, but every place turned me down. So not only am I ugly, but I'm also a failure.

I don't consider myself to be ugly, but I have to say, your situation sounds pretty awful. I remember encountering bitchy girls at my school who would tease, prod, and pick with the " uglier" girls. I never understood why people needed to be that damn cruel? The thing that always got me though, was that the " uglier" girls were always so sweet to everyone. It's so irritating how superficial people can be.

1. Don't let people get to you - I know what you had to endure was pretty brutal, but those idiotic people are hopefully gone from your life now. It's time to start embracing yourself for how you are; physically, mentally, spiritually everything. These people have taken so much power from you and belittled your worth - but your far from worthless. Looks definitely aren't everything; I'd rather be ugly than walk around with such a disgusting personality. You don't get very far in life. So PHUCK those punk ass bitches! >:D

2. There is beauty in every women. You may be struggling to see it, but I can promise you some guy has seen it already. Men have all sorts of taste, desires, preferences in a women - so it's only a matter of time before someone takes you truly as his. And trust me, it's not the quantity you want, it's the quality. You know how many girls regret dating the losers they have? How many would've been more satisfied in waiting for that one decent guy to come along? LOTS lol. So don't let that aspect get you down - ever. Plus your still young, and love can show up at any age.

3. Oooh modeling - so amazing *gag* lol Models can't even live up to the standards set for themselves; their always being picked at for whatever chosen flaw. It's a pointless lifestyle really. All you do is dress up nice or whatever and get your picture taken, for magazines that further damage the self - esteem of women nationwide. Yea, that's a really awesome occupation. Hell, I couldn't pass as a model either, and so many other women as well, with their bullsh*t standards. Plus, your useless once you start aging - unless you make it super big time, you can forget having a solid career for very long. Perhaps you were just made to do something different; pursue what you really want in life. Make your own living, not your families. Bring that new perspective into that mundane family lineage - create a dream for yourself - not them.

Your the furthest thing from a failure love; you have so much potential to be an awesome success - don't let the shallowness of this world get you down; looks fade quite rapidly and a person is more honored for their character than anything else.

Keep your head up girl - the worst is over...so it can only get better...

Girl...don't believe what those people say. One thing I've learned is that no matter what other people say about you can never get your worth from them. Trust me, it doesn't matter how many people tell you you're beautiful, if you don't believe it about yourself, it won't make a difference. So girl, you gotta love yourself.

Sometimes I look in the mirror and cry because I hate what I see. Not really the outside, but just the person I am. And sometimes for no reason I just hate my face. And it doesn't matter what anyone else says, the problem is in my head. I have the problem with myself not anyone else.

1. Guys very rarely approach me- though admittedly I have been in relationships before, but only about 3. And in relationships they never last longer than 1 month

2. I personally don't like how I look, In comparison with other girls I see myself as ugly,

3. Some guys have rated me for my looks out of 10 and the highest I've gotten is 7 (I realize that isn't that bad though)- and that's when I have spent ages putting on make-up and curling my hair etc. Without all that all I've gotten are 5s

Most people can't get signed on to a modeling agency. It doesn't mean you are ugly. In fact some very good looking people in Hollywood, where made fun of for their looks when they were in school.

I'm the only one of six girls who couldn't. Kind of makes me the ugly sister, doesn't it?

And those hot starlets eventually get approached by guys. I'm still waiting.

1. some people feel better about themselves when they put others down.

2. Maybe you were a bit clingy or had low esteem and that's why they didn't chase after you. Maybe it had nothing to do with looks.

3. Maybe it is because you aren't meant to be a model but still you can be at least average and normal looking. I consider myself average but not model quality like Adriana Lima or Cameron Diaz.

Kids are mean. They made fun of you because they could. I'm sure you weren't the only one who was picked on.

As far as modeling, a lot of very high fashion models look kinda weird in person. Being a model doesn't make you the pinnacle of beauty.

we are in the same boat. I've been told I'm weird looking, like from another planet. and I never get approached by guys either...
