I like girly girls. The more feminine the better as long as they aren't ditzy, giggly, helpless bubble heads.

I like girls who wear cute clothes, have pretty hair styles, are fastidious about grooming, and wear tasteful makeup when appropriate. But some girls go way overboard on makeup with giant fake eyelashes, thick eye liner, obvious eye shadow, perfectly sculpted eye brows, loud lipstick, fake nails or gaudy nail colors or appliques. I don't like anything fake.
Some girly girls have bad fashion sense and look like street hookers.

There are different types of girly girls, so it's define the term. My closest generalization would be heterosexual women who embrace their femininity and enjoy looking soft and pretty. A girly girl can even be athletic, energetic, bold, daring, smart, confident, competent, and independent. She's not a door mat or a sex toy. However, she does have a submissive vibe, as in knowing how to be a lady.

Have to admit I like women who are comfortable in themselves to wear no make up and quite happy to go out in a baseball hat and sweater.

My first girlfriend was a girly girl and if I did have one complaint about them it's the amount of time they take to put their war paint on. We used to work together. I'd have some coffee and a quick shower. She'd still be applying make up and making sure her nails, hair, etc were perfect. She had hundreds of clothes and shoes and would change them several times before we left. Drove me nuts!

Usually took her two/three hours to get ready.

Nope. Only if they act incapable of all things. Or they refuse to do things, work, and rely on others to do something, because they don't want to mess up their [outfit, nails, hair, makeup... you name it.] Otherwise, if a sweet demeanour goes along with the girliness/femininity, then it's all good. I like feminine girls.

Because I’ve never been a girly girl and usually girly girls are full of gossip and drama, so I avoid them like the plague. There’s only one girly girl I’ve ever gotten along with but she was an absolute sweetheart, and from personal experience, she’s the odd one out when it comes to typical girly girls.

Yes and no. For the most part it does not. However, being a girly-girl does not mean a man should have to do everything for you. I cannot stand helpless girls, but I also cannot stand girls who will NEVER let a man help.

I do not care if she is into makeup and dressing up or not. I do care if she can be dependable or not. I do not expect her to be a full-blown MMA fighter, but I do need to know she is tough enough that she can defend herself if I am not around.

Finally, I cannot stand women with mousy or too-high-pitched voices.

I haven't really met a girly girl but the only thing I could tell was, that they had extra more emotions which I found super duper cute and so adorable, nothing annoying at all =]. I'd rather have a girly girl than the complete opposite, if you get what I mean.

From experience, the ones that put a lot of effort on clothing and looks tend to be more petty and judgmental and arrogant. The ones that are very girly but don’t put a lot of effort on looks seem sweeter than average. There are exceptions but it seems to trend that way. I heard with guys, there’s a positive correlation between suit wearing in occasions that don’t require a suit and psychopathy. Maybe it’s all the same phenomenon.

Some can be really annoying with their constant need for reassurance, their inability to act, and their boring, one-dimensional, illogical, and emotionally-driven personalities. It's like dealing with a child sometimes. That being said, tomboys come with their own issues.

They're very submissive. Which is cute, if you're in a relationship with her... But if you're her colleague and you want her to stand for herself and she's like "it's not worth the fight"... It’s annoying when they don’t properly handle conflict when dealing with dating issues. Example she goes on a date or two with a guy. For whatever reason unbeknownst to him she’s loses interest. So she decides to just ghost him. That’s not feminine behavior just cowardice.

Depends on what you mean by "girly" ? I like women who are feminine, but not flaky. My wife is feminine but she can be dressed and ready to go out in 20 minutes. Great hair cut, does her own nails, keeps them short and polished.
