I think you’re putting yourself in a complicated situation if she is your ex. I almost want to guarantee you’ll get back together (eventually), or it will end messy.

I'd be brutally honest and transparent so you don't waste your ex’s time and an emotional roller coaster.

Tell her that you’ve put a lot of thought into the current dynamics between you two and the stage you’re at in your life.
