I met this girl in school and we got close over the short semester. She would start sitting next to me and go home together and we’d text a good amount. We’d do a lot of things together in school. I always seem to make her laugh a lot and we get along great

We sound like we’re very close but when it comes to meeting up not relating to school, she always makes an excuse to say no. I asked her to meet up (platonically) but she made up an excuse, where I found out was a lie. Just from this I realized that I don’t even think we’re friends at all (outside of school). We’re close in school then when it comes to outside of school she’s distant.

I think I do have feelings for her but it’s not that what’s bothering me. It’s the fact that she doesn’t want to meet up to hangout as friends :/
