Can I ignore my coworker even if she’s requesting help?

Yes I would tell her I'm busy working trying to finish my own workload. I would tell her to ask the supervisor or boss for help.

Well my manager questions my productivity now because I requested overtime. But it’s cuz I spend so much time helping her.

That is not fair because you have to help her. Helping her a few times is ok but everyday is a no no. You can also pretend you don't the answer to her questions and that would get her to leave you alone.

@coolbreeze it’s absolutely annoying af. I help her and she just uses me. Doesn’t offer to help me with anything. I asked her a question once on how she found a result and she seemed so annoyed and passive aggressive about it. I send her thorough af responses and instructions and she just asks a lot of questions about it even tho it’s in the workbook on how to do it. Her responses after I help her are like “okay.” Or if I ask her to do something politely she’s like “Yes. Doing it now.” I get it, we all get annoyed sometimes I even have, but this is a consistent pattern of her being rude to me.

No I’m doing my job 100%. She wants me to do work for her. She leaves multiple times during the day (is offline, has status as Away), won’t fix her systems issues, and things have been busy so I’m annoyed.

Okay, so then say "no," and keep a record of her behavior so you have a defense if she tries to report you to a supervisor.

She’s a f! cking b! tch. She already has. Claimed I didn’t send her an important spreadsheet of things to get access to which I did.. and forwarded that to my boss. Besides she wouldn’t request access anyway! She’s a lazy bum and she takes hours to complete things and doesn’t raise questions in a timely manner.
ALSO I worked several hours of overtime last week because of people being out, doing work for her, and a huge testing process deadline, oh, to which I didn’t get paid for!

Do the job you are being paid to do. Document when she asks you to do her work.

Yeah it’s just I also had to go overtime last week. My manager said she can’t approve it because it wasn’t asked in advance.
