What does "sorry I suck at texting" mean?

I've had two girls send this to me. Both times it was like, we texted for a little bit, then she didn't respond. Then the next day or later that night she says "sorry I suck at texting".

I know it does not literally mean they suck at texting, it's obviously an excuse for not responding. Could it be that the conversation was boring or something? Is this a bad thing or just neutral?

I've seen this. Sometimes I wonder if they want to chat, but ...

I've gotten it most from girls who frankly didn't seem that bright and witty. They couldn't keep up. They just said 'hahaha' at my jokes and then apologized for being dullards.

Maybe less texting, more making out with this girl would be a better use of her skillset?

When I text "sorry, I suck at texting" it means that I didn't have anything to really reply with... So I didn't want to seem like a bitch & ignore you completely, but just let you know that I'm replying but I don't really have anything to say. It means I still want to talk to you, I just don't know what to talk about.

So it's not necessarily a bad thing, the conversation just stopped flowing. Just a bad thing if it happens often

actually I know many girls who really ARE simply bad texters. This sounds stupid but some people read a text and say they will respond and don't know how so they wait a while and then forget about it. It's nothing against you. If they cared enough to say later "sorry I suck at texting" they weren't blowing you off.

It means they just didn't know what to say to you..make the convo more interesting. If it happens once no biggie but say something interesting haaha.
