Basically I got irritated at a coworker (let's call her sam) one day for being slow and basically said to hurry up and work harder. I felt really bad and apologized, in my apology I didn't wanna make her feel bad so I sort of white lied (ik i shouldn't have but it came out lol) and said another coworker dude (let's call him dan) was the reason I was mad...

Anyways the next day Dan told me she told him all this.. She thought it was funny I blamed him and that I obviously wasn't mad at him.. They both thought it was funny and she told me just to be honest next time... but It pissed me off cause I feel like Sam threw me under the bus?

Of course she threw you under the bus, and you were stupid to back down once you had told her to get her ass in gear. Of course, disciplining a woman is almost impossible for a man, but sometimes necessary.
