Is this girl just shy?

I feel like sometimes she hates me and is uninterested and talks to everyone else fine but with me it’s mixed messages. Sometimes she’s fine and then other times just blows me off. I feel like she may like me because of other signs e. g. staring a lot, trying to get my attention, try to make me jealous a few times, acts nervous sometimes and fidgets, but then ignores me on purpose like I’m not there. So I don’t know if she’s shy or not or something else.

First thing to consider is : Age what is flighty at one age is manipulation at another. Once this is determine THEN you might have to Man-Up and stop dickin around. Age first and then decide if you are asking her out Monday or going to cut this one loose :-)

Why not gut up and ask her yourself? No one can say what’s on her mind but her, and for all you know it may not even be anything and you’re just looking hard into her actions and taking them the entirely wrong way...

I have asked her but she doesn’t give me a direct answer, denies it or says it her homework etc, but then does it again. that’s why I thought I’d try ask on here because I don’t know what it could be. How am I taking them the wrong way?

If she says there’s not a problem then honestly you have to just take that at face value. Keep in mind that just because you work together, it doesn’t mean you know her well enough to judge her actions and just declare that she is denying anything or being strange. When you are interacting with someone on a personal level, just chats and jokes and shit at work, then you truly don’t know them.
