How do you weed out the bad guys from the good ones?

Every other time I think I found a good guy, he ends up proving me wrong.

Honestly the only way to tell for sure is time. After awhile you'll be able to see whether or not his actions match up with his words. If the guy's a jerk disguised as a nice guy, his true self will usually come out before the six month mark.

You can also read some articles about dating red flags too. I've found them to be pretty helpful.

Wreck his car. If he is more worried about his car, then dump him. If he is more worried if you are okay, then he is a keeper. That is what my step mom did, with my dad. Okay that might be a little extreme. Point is you need to find a way to measure, how high of a priority you are to him.

Usually things will happen in life that give a person the chance to be there for you. A good person is there for you when you need it.
