Why do so many women nowadays (not all, but many) love men with facial hair?

I love any masculine trait.. facial hair, chest hair.. it's just attractive. It also makes me feel at peace, I'm not sure why maybe because it's just manly.

As a man that has a long thick beard, first of all a quick FYI for all people about me and my beard! It's not about masculinity or being a man or any that kind of macho alpha syndrome. Why do so many women like it now days? Because no one embraced it as it should, it was always shave it, hate it and so on which most of men do. Here is what the wife says about mine: It's soft, smells good, makes me look good and she thinks it fits my personality. I have had many women asking my wife if they can touch my beard and drool because they never seen a beard that is so soft and smells fresh and well groomed before and it's a trend as many would say, a trend that has been around since there was men on earth. Not all men can have beards, not all men that has beards takes care of it or can pull it of just because they can grow one. It's just facial hair and finally we are embracing it and don't worry! I get hateful/harsh comments from other people both men and women but i don't care and am doing it for my self. The wife loved me when i was clean shaven and she loves now with beard, nothing changed

Not this way. I definitely prefer smooth shaven. most of my girlfriends who have husbands with facial hair think it looks nice, or they just put up with it.
