Why is this shy girl giving me mixed signals?

There’s this girl I met at my college class in the beginning of our semester and after I made a quick compliment she introduced herself and we exchanged numbers. Ever since then she’s acted more shy than when we first met. She never responds to my text although I can’t tell if she’s seen my messages but in person when we’re close to each other, she’ll walk slowly or match my pace while looking down obviously wanting to talk but too nervous to say anything until I initiate the conversation. And whenever we are walking and bump into each other, she smiles and waves but doesn’t say anything. I really want to get to know this girl more but I don’t know why she seems so anxious to talk which has me speculating it may be a crush and I do kinda like her as a crush too but I’m just confused is all.

I’m bisexual and she doesn’t know but im a tomboy and dress like one so many can assume that I am a bit gay and I also don’t know if she’s into girls but the way she’s acting could point to that. I plan on telling her I’m bi if I’m able to have an actual conversation with her but she’s so freaking shy🤣Also today before we left class I said “hey” and gave her a high five then she left the building out the way I usually go but I wasn’t there in time (I was busy waiting for her in the hallway to make small talk not knowing she left the building). It seems they every time i don’t talk to her, after class she leaves our class building a different way but whenever we do talk she leaves out my way almost as if she’s hoping to walk and talk with me. Is that a sign too? She also used to sit next to me but randomly moved her seat up the day after we first met
