I can't have any stereotypes bc I've never even been to UK.

All I can say is my impression with Brits in general, no matter the gender - that they speak funny. I've spoken to Americans, Australians, French, Spanish, Swedish, Japanese, Russians, Germans, yesterday even to a Canadian girl, basically any English speaking nation that visits my country, but the Brits are the only people on the planet I can't understand a word of what they're saying and I need an interpreter for them. I was told Londoners speak better and more clear but if Lady Sovereign can be enough to judge about that, that's not true cuz I can't understand the most of her lyrics either.

Here in my country we have an expression about the Brits' way of speaking - "like they have a hot potato in the mouth". 😆

Yeah I understand what you mean 😂. There's a lot of different accents in the UK. London is probably the most plain English accent, and the further north you go, that's where even I struggle to understand 😂 like the Scouse accent

I've never heard of a Scouse before, so I had to YouTube that. The girl in the red dress had a surprisingly good delivery and I was able to watch the video without subtitles but the other girl - damn, that's a whole other language! 😆

by the way, have you seen the 2014 movie "Pride"? I think it's British. There are some famous actors like the guy who played the role of Davy Jones on POTC and the oldest vampire on "Underworld", also the woman who played the role of Dolores Umbridge on "Harry Potter". I don't know if it's because of her role on "Pride", but that woman on that particular movie I couldn't understand many of her lines. And not just hers but she was the toughest one to understand. :) Whereas she had an excellent delivery on "Harry Potter" and I can watch all of the 8 movies without subtitles.

As a Texan who has also lived in North Carolina I would advise y'all to have a discerning eye as the southern girls toss those welcoming words about so readily... a lot of that is going to fall under the category of "hospitality" rather than genuine interest... not a bad thing, but good to be aware
