Why would someone let someone they barely know into their house or car on the first date?

I would never understand unless in dire circumstances giving a ride or getting a ride from a stranger I also really don’t understand letting someone into your home or going into their home.

It’s just so unsafe. It makes ZERO sense to me. Sorry I’m not picking you up. I don’t know you. Sorry you’re not coming to my house and I’m not going to yours. Sorry no you can’t come pick me up.

What the hell goes through someone’s head? Especially if it’s for sex. That’s laid dangerous in many ways.

I don’t do that with dudes I barely know. If we’re meeting for dinner we’re going separately. He’s not getting laid on the first date. And my friends and I have a ‘safe house’ that we’ll go to if the date goes south or we feel unsafe. I’ve had to use it once. The date wasn’t good he kept getting handsy and wouldn’t take no for an answer. So I left he followed and he nearly shit himself when the occupants of the house showed up
