So in preparation for upcoming move to Japan I started to study the language on an exchange app to learn about the culture and language. One of the people who I chat with is this woman who started off good no issues. Who makes small jabs to now being more blatant in talking shit. Started small questioning me on why I do the work I do to now going through photos analyzing old pictures questioning why I look that way. Am I overthinking things that she just want to talk shit or she over analyzing me for a reason?

When you come upon another person that's learning, you got to ask why are they learning. A girl... usually because of a girl. The business type. The worst is those fucking anime freaks. Me... I was military and just wanted to be a gangster... then some age made me see that path as sort of gay. With all of that said, this chick is probably trying to pinpoint why you're bothering to learn. Like if you're just an anime freak or the dude just chasing a girl... you're part of the usual group and nobody is going to really take you seriously. Prepare to have fun poked at you and have your pronunciation shit on with a constant sort of basis.

Like you still say 'desu' like a bitch? Replace that shit with 'da.' Start using your verbs without the -masu form... that shit is for servants and bitches. That half L/R shit... just roll your R's like a fucking pirate. Learn the local slang... Toukyou fuckers is how you want to sound if you want to sound like a bitch. It's that little bit of cultural stuff you have to learn in order to understand what they're thinking.

You're jumping into a big ass language. Just the kanji alone will make any sane person re-think how they're spending their time. If you're over that hill though, you'll start to see people in the same way. Like is this fucker learning because of some fucking cartoons?

Maybe got mad I didn’t relate current food she ate to a conversation a couple days ago. If you show someone what looks like meat and say it isn’t from an animal what would you think left? I thought it could be a dry vegetable turns out it a stingray fin and I’m like you said not an animal I would not relate the two since a stingray is an animal.
