Why does this girl keep snapping me after I’ve left her on open numerous times? Can some of y’all read minds?

Hello, I’m asking this question here because I could not find a reasonable answer anywhere else. So, a little background is that this girl and I used to snap a bit last summer, and we both mutually left each other on open. I will admit I did have an interest in her then, but I know she didn’t for me, mostly cause she was seeing someone. I’m not really friends with the guy, but he’s a mutual of other friends, and they used to date. Anyways, that didn’t really bother me nor being left on open, but we stopped snapping close to the end of summer. Then, later in mid November she snaps me, but I just leave her on open. December comes and she snaps me, I once again leave her on open. And again in January, that’s when I start questioning all of this, wondering why if I’m just going to leave her on open. Finally, 4 days ago she snaps me, and I snap her back, we’re currently on a streak now. Also, I need to add that these are just normal and simple snapshots, nothing special. She is a cool and pretty, but we never really hanged out and she dated one of my distant friends so yeah. I’m really trying to be respectful about all this and if anyone can help me out it’d be much appreciative.

Women want to express themselves and be heard. You are not responding to her needs and women get upset in these situations. One day, she will simply stop communicating or giving any attention. She has a crush on you is my guess.

Thank you for your response. And at the time I was interested in her, I would reply to her stories etc. like initiate a conversation, but she never did or has. Unless, that’s how some girls are or something.
