How important is it that your partner knows how to write a check?

Also it's late but this just popped in my mind. I don't know how to write a check because it's cash or credit card. Shiii, does anyone even accept checks now a day? (besides the bank)

This reminds me of when my ex-husband didn't send his child support check in the mail 📬. So, one day I drove to his work and asked why he hadn't sent me the child support check. He replied "Because I don't know how to fill them out".
So, yes, it's important that your partner knows how to write a check.

Not really, you don't get them generally in the UK anymore as many businesses don't accept them

I only get them from selling to businesses

I hear that tho. Down here in amercia they just say "cash or card" not... well check ain't even an option.

Yeah even those companies will transfer to my bank if I requested it but a cheque gives you a letterhead as a record for filing purposes

I write, or rather, print my payroll checks at work. When I bought my last vehicle they would not take a bank transfer, only a check. But otherwise, I do not think I've written a personal check since before Joe Biden took office.
