Do woman not care how painful child birth is supposed to be?

I heard about a celebrity wife who was in labour for supposedly 5 days during her first child with her husband and now she says she wants a second one. My cousins first child came out in under 2 hours and she had suicidal thoughts during labour cause of how painful it was.

My wife has had 2 children, I've found out from her that a lot of mothers judge other mothers based on how their birth went; its like war stories.

Like there is a scale, and if a woman doesn't suffer enough, she isn't a real mother. For example, if she didn't give birth at home under the light of a full moon, she's not a real mother. Or if she got an epidural, she's not a real mother. Or if her labor was less than 10 hours, she's not a real mother.

It just seems silly to me, like a female pissing contest.

Honestly there is a gigantic list of side effects from not only childbirth but even just pregnancy itself. If I was a woman I’d be terrified of that experience

but you do get a whole child from it so i understand why they go through with it lmao
