Why do women say they like/want one thing but then do the complete opposite?

not really reverse psychology i think its more women are afraid to just admit what they want or more so its a why of being overly nice as opposed to just telling the truth

Women have been taught, mainly by men, that, they're supposed to be polite, and be sweet and all that, even if that means saying the opposite of what they actually want. Men are usually more forward with what they want, because we were taught that we're supposed to be.

We naturally want what we can't have. For a lot of people it's difficult to make the connection between what we want and how we get that. It's even more difficult to make the changes necessary for the outcome we are looking for.

in many ways , what they want out of life , in their social life , in the way the view social issues and ofcourse dating preference's and advice seems like most or a lot of women just dont be straightforward and instead tend to give the opposite opinion on what they want because of some fear of feeling hypocritical or being seen as "mean"

haha sure i'm talking through my expedience but ofcourse just what i see and what I've been around
