He was first joking that he wants to me to cook for him and then send the food to him through uber eats. Then he said is it going to be free delivery or he’s going pick it up by himself.

Some 35 years ago people were totally comfortable with flirting for real. Then, that would have meant 'invite me over to yours for dinner'. But females back then had to know how to make good food and upkeep a house at a minimum. We come from conservative culture. Also we are muslims and are currently observing ramadan (it’s like Christmas holiday for christians).
