Maybe it's because I'm a guy but, I don't get why it matters if she wants to wear it or not. Most of you will say "because it shouldn't matter", right? She should be beautiful with and without it. So, why then does it matter? Why do women wear it, and why do men often say "well you shouldn't wear it", and then we usually go for the ones who do, after all

The reason I asked is because I once aid to a girl (I like but will never get, likely for a couple of reasons), that, she didn't need a part of her makeup she pointed out that she forgot. Had she not pointed it out, I wouldn't have noticed or said anything, just wasn't sure if I was supposed to say anything. So, when I did say that, she rolled her eyes and smiled. I think she thought I was trying a pickup line on her
