Is baking him cookies too much?

I really like this guy, we've been dating for a few months but it's really intense. I have been very possessive and annoying lately and want him to know that I care about him and that he means a lot to me - should I bake him cookies for when I see him tomorrow? He loves food and I think it would be a nice way to show him I care and that I'm sorry - any other ideas? I'm picking him up from the train and we're going out to dinner...

I think you should go ahead and bake him cookies! I wish a girl that I liked baked me cookies! If he likes food like you say then I am sure he won't feel annoyed by it. Also, you could just ask him honestly if he is annoyed by you or if he feels that you are possessive. This could be a good way to find out what his true thoughts about you are. After all you can't read his mind and he can't read yours. Then again, when you bake him cookies you could leave him a note asking whether he finds you a little annoying or possessive. The bread worked :) I apologized, gave it to him later on and he was shocked that I put in the effort to make him something and that I remembered that he said he loved that type. I think we're back on track and he knows I didn't mean to be so crazy...

If he is smart he would fake appreciation even if he didn't like it because if he makes fun of your cookies he won't be getting the one better your legs, so whether he likes it or doesn't, it works to your advantage.

So, save the cookie baking for another day and, instead, put more thought into why you think you are being possessive and annoying. If you are feeling the love now because he temporarily stopped doing whatever it was that triggered your behavior, well an offering of cookies could look quite odd, as if you are not recognizing that there is something bigger going on that needs to be fixed.
