I think “oh well” wasn’t meant to be. If I liked a guy and found out he was into someone else, I would move on. That’s simply because I don’t want to be plan b or the backup choice. He obviously likes someone more than me. That is fine. You can’t win them all.

Sure, I would initially be disappointed, but would anyone really want to start a relationship knowing their partner had stronger feelings for someone else? I would not. It is one of those things in life where you count it as a loss and get over it. Life is full of disappointments at times.

I would want to date someone that was head over heels for me from the start, not on the fence as to whether I am the best option or some other girl is. Now, that is not to say I would ever know this. The guy might have had strong feelings for someone else and kept that to himself. I wouldn’t be the wiser. I’m your scenario though, I would be aware and so my initial statement would hold true.
