Why are girls afraid to make eye contact with me?

Sound to me like you are giving off intimidating body language. Try smiling, with your eyes as well. Open up your body language a little. Even girls that are intimidated by good looking guys will cope with that fear, if he seems nice and inviting. I've looked at girls that where passing, and they have turned around and walked back to me (sometimes gulping like they have a frog in their throat), just because I spoke to them through body language.

No during conversations they don't take their eyes off.

I stare them down as I'm walking towards them.

Some girls might find that creepy.

But to be fair, other girls interpret that as you being direct and "knowing what you want and going after it" (so to speak) which, for them, would be a turn on.

First off, don't claim to be good looking especially without a picture because it makes you look cocky. Which if you are (not going to say you are for sure but if) then that could be why they don't make eye contact. If not then some people just don't like it. Plain and simple. they can find it uncomfortable and awkward. Or they may feel like you're staring and be nervous.

i hate when people stare at me so intensely like I'm in a stare off competition with them or something lol its creepy sometimes , what I do is I stare a couple quick seconds then look again then repeat, maybe they find your intimidating because your attractive?

I hate it. If I'm talking to someone even if it is with someone I find attractive, I tend to look around a lot and look down at the floor and try to get him to stop. It just makes me feel uncomfortable and awkward.

They could be intimated. But pictures or I don't believe you when you say you're good looking. Chances are you aren't on their radar or they don't like giving random guys eye contact.
