Why do women avoid eye contact with me and act generally avoidant?

Whenever I'm speaking to a woman many will avoid eye contact with me. Even in group conversations a woman will look at everyone but me. Also they will almost whisper and act aloof if they must interact with me. I don't flirt or act creepy I'm actually a very introverted serious type of person. I've been told I come off intimidating but oddly this was from girls that liked me. Do I look creepy or scary to where I would unsettle you? Oh and by the way no I don't go outside with my hair looking like that lol

If I had to be forced to talk to someone that look like you I too would be acting aloof and avoidance. Try cracking a tally ole smile, you know you gotta take that serious looking face elsewhere it looks creepy and scary. Show dem pearly whites I know you have them. Also watch your tone and body language with the women. Your facial structure comes off strong with your cheek bones.

They might not be interested in you. I always avoid looking at guys and totally ignore their existence. Mostly because even if I look at him for a second, in this own mind he'll think I'm giving him hints and than he'll think I'm playing hard to get.
So that might be a reason.

I think, for me, I don't make eye contact in general, I find it very unsettling and scary 🥺. In your case, I find your gaze quite intimidating and serious, which might be why it scares some people away.

People are often put off by a nonemotional expression. This can applied to both males and females. If people are greeted with a smile they will perceive you are welcoming which will result in eye contact.

You seem to just have a very serious expression and that might be why maybe when you talk to women try making a few jokes and see if she laughs so she knows you're friendly

I don't think that's it. I think it's more to do about the kind of energy that you give, than it is about how you look. What it is I got told I can be intimidating also.

No prob. I find that for a lot of people they consider it hard for them to get to know you if you're not the type of person that it could have been an open book, they find it scary. They feel exposed and because of that think they look at the end they believe that it's your fault for how they choose to feel.

They have ego issues and are judgmental.
They judge you and assume that you're figuring a way out to flirt with them.

I agree that smiling and feeling positive on the inside, will give off a happy, relaxed vibe, and the opposite isn't a good way to attract people.
