I have moved on from all my crushes and now i even find them super unattractive because they really were. The only thing that made them my " crush" and it will sound shallow was the fact that they had curly hair

Yes, but I’d say it depends on each girl as an individual.

That depends on a lot of factors but I assume it's the same for guys as it is for girls.

If they're crushing on someone solely for looks or attention, they move on pretty quickly. If they're crushing on someone for personality or because they genuinely get along and enjoy being with that person, it takes much longer to move on.

That being said, a lot of people follow the old saying "the best way to get over somebody is to get under somebody new". So frequently if someone is rejected or a situation has occurred that makes it obvious that relationship will never work, they'll get with other people in the hopes that it helps them forget about the old person. With immature people, they'll do this publicly in attempts to make the old person jealous so they come crawling back. But those people are toxic and should be avoided.
