And also, how important are crushes for girls? Like is he the one you want to be with? Or is it just he's the one you rather be with?

- Unavailability. And I'm not just talking about having a girlfriend. I'm also talking about being too busy, never replying to messages, never wanting to hang out etc. People always claim that they want what they can't have. That's not really true for me. Sure, I might be willing to wait a while and see if he changes or if his schedule clears up, but after a certain point, I just become bored.

- Being rude and inconsiderate. Sometimes, when some guys get a little too comfortable with you, they'll start being really rude. They think that they can say whatever they want to your face just because you know each other well. Not very attractive. And other times, a guy might act really nice at first, but after a while he starts showing his true colors.

- Lying. Especially about bigger things. Should be pretty self-explanatory.

- Not being willing to communicate/open up/share feelings. When I really want to get to know someone, I expect them to open up to me at some point (which I would do, too, with the right people). Of course everyone is different and some people want to take their time. But if he's literally acting like a rock, I'll slowly start to lose interest.

- Not having a good sense of humor. I want to be with someone I can laugh and have fun with, not someone who's offended by everything and who over-analyzes every single joke. When I find out that a guy literally has no sense of humor, I instantly lose a lot of attraction for him.

- Not being able to move past from the acquaintance stage. Like, if all we ever talk about is school and the weather or some shit, and he makes no effort to talk about deeper stuff (even when I try to bring up some interesting subjects), then I'll simply assume that he's not interested.

- Not flirting with me. If he doesn't flirt back when I try to flirt with him, I'll assume he's not into it/me. Kind of goes hand in hand with the unavailability thing.

Very. Important. You know, it depends on the girl. Let me tell you my current situation with my crush.

Back in September I noticed this guy staring at me at school. I saw him almost every day, but I didn't know him so I just didn't think about it and didn't think about it. I get really nervous etc when he's around, so my "bitch-mode" goes on I guess? And it seems like I don't like him at all, but that's not true. I'm afraid to get hurt because of trust issues. I like to take it slow and see if he's patient enough/makes an effort or just walks away.

After a 2 week vacation I saw him again and yes, still interested in him. But he seems to be angry or frustrated for some reason lately. I have the feeling that I have to get over it and move on since I probably ignored him and blew it the other day.

But I still like him. It's just that I'm really sad and angry about what happened the last two days. Of course I want him to be my bf, but if this goes on, I have to safe my heart and mind and just move on. It depends on the situation and if you talk or not. That's so important. If you notice she's sending you hints for a long time, go for it. Watch her attitude. If she seems like a nice person, try to say hi. I know some girls can be SO extremely shy. My god.. It's insane how hard it is to talk to your crush.

In the past I'd move on if I found out he wasn't interested or if he treated me poorly, nowadays.. As an adult I move on if I don't see interest in his part or that I too lose interest.

For most girls its infatuation she wants to be with her crush. Emphasis on want. I'd say for young girls crushes are super important.. As you get older they're just blips.. simple attraction. I mean I still get giddy and my crush is important.. But there are still things that are more important than a crush.

It's easier for girls unless she's built a rapport with her crush thus have devleloped deeper feelings for each other then it will take a looong time to move on

Not seeing or talking to him for a long time, or finding a new crush. Most of my crushes haven't been that important, like probably I was still open to meeting other guys while I had the crush, it's just sort of fun to have one

Depends if he likes her back haha, if he does then it's a good thing (but probably better if he'd just asked her out already..). If not then it's a potentially painful thing
