Girls, What helps you move on from a guy that doesn't like you back?

I think what makes it hard for some women to move on from a crush is when she still has hope. Despite knowing he’s disinterested, she may think that changing something about herself whether it’s looks, behavior, or both, will sway him. I also believe it’s harder to move on when the woman relates his disinterest to her being unattractive in some way.


These are all toxic ways of thinking, and I would suggest she either seeks professional help or start trying to heal on her own. Like doing the work to not taking rejection so harshly, realizing that he may not have even been a good prospect, and ultimately believing she will find better. Also, she’s got to be ready to fully let go. That means not seeking him in other men (which holds them to an impossible standard anyway), changing how she interacts with him (if at all), things like this will make the process easier.
