I wouldn’t take it as her saying you’re gay as in homosexual, it’s just outdated slang people use in place of corny, cheesy, things like that. No matter what though, her response was unnecessary and actually kinda sad, she clearly isn’t used to receiving that sort of attention to detail from men. Like it’s possible she never had a guy take notice in things she enjoys or set a date based on what they think she’d enjoy.

That’s honestly too bad for her, like we’ve all had a bad experience or several in the past, but it doesn’t mean that has to dictate how we treat people going forward. In her situation she’s only screwing herself by reacting to that sort of kindness so rude and immaturely. No man will want to continue on with a woman like that, and she will miss many opportunities.
