whats being an independant woman mean why is this such a controversial or sensitive topic

why do some people get mad when u just ask what it means

why are men told to depend on people

why are some people saying "we all need eachother" yet its bad for a woman to need someone?

i legit hear women having edgy hard ass views like im independant completely and i think that we should all be independant completely literly and im like where is this comign from

why do some people get so offended by a woman needing a man in any context

people generalize and say its a liberla and democrat woman thing, but i think modern conservative and republican women are very independant and they work it with there conservative values and im confused how that works.

I think its great for women to be self sufficient!

and I dont think that men should control women

and i think its good for them to have there own money and stuff.

Independent woman refers to a woman that typically likes to get things done on her own and doesn’t prefer a man to help her out in her successes.


The issue a lot of people have with it , is it makes a relationship dysfunctional because relationships were built on a dynamic of each gender needing each other for something. Now that people in todays society have a “do it all” kind of mindset we are stuck in a society where relationships are now wanted and not needed and because of that divorce rates are skyrocketed and people not desiring relationships anymore is at an all time high.




Personally I think this being a good or bad thing, depends on what you are looking for out of life.

Alright, so someone who likes to get things done on her own.

not to generalize, but it is interesting how both tough hardass women and liberal democrat stereotpically softer minded women and social justice people (advocating for a social justice issue doesn't necessarily make u soft thats why i said to not generalize) im just trying to point out an interesting nuance here.

its bad to be literally completely independant for anybody, us guys can't do that, we are told to depend on people and stuff.

but with women it is sensitive and controverial and stuff and women my age seem to be elusive or by the concept of needing a guy in any context and act like i am tripping when i talk about this stuff with them and its hard for me to understand where there c oming from I've only had a real conversation with few girls my age about this kind of thing cuz it either leads to them being like what are you talking about or everybodys different or acting like i am a ghost for a second and the convo isn't happening or getting annoyed or angry pretty quickly

i dont know how to explain it they dont necesarily get mad but they just dont seem to want to acknolwedge certain things and just go on what they know or think

I am not puff off by this necessarily.

An independant woman could just be someone who want to take care of her self or be responsible for her self

I dont like the toxic attitudes some girls have of i can do it all on my own and i dont need any help and get mad and act like u helping them even a little is "being weird" and stuff like that and think they understand guys but dont ever listen to what guys say

Like I said, I think it depends on what you want in life. There’s women that I know that love being single and have no desire to want marriage. If you are a woman that wants a relationship though - you need to learn when being independent can be too much

People often post on social media what they are feeling in the moment - that doesn’t determine how they overall feel. There’s days where I would love to have a kid to raise at this very moment and then reality kicks in and I’d rather not have an extra responsibility at the moment

Men have never been dependent on women and have never needed them for anything other than giving birth. Since today there are jobs that do not depend on brute force, women have been allowed to work, this to free men from being forced to marry and support women. But, even when the woman works, the man continues to dominate all the sciences and technologies thanks to his intrinsic intelligence.

To me it means she's a grown woman and should be able to provide for herself what she needs to survive.

She's not a baby anymore.
