Can I message a women I was seeing?

I (man) 31 was seeing a women (32) and it was going really well. Until one day she told me she felt messed up and dumb. She said she wasn’t ready for a relationship. We stopped talking. Can I message her a month later to see how she is doing?

The question is: why do you want to message her? Is it simply because you want to ask her how she is or is it because you have other intentions with that woman?

If it is simply to ask how she is doing, then of course you can ask her how she is doing but if it is in hope for something else, then you better leave it be and not contact her.

She feels messed up and in that case, she should contact you first when she feels okay again. Let her take the initiative to contact you. When and if she does means that she is better.

I’m Kat 😊. Hey there. I think that it wouldn’t hurt to try once or twice more and to find out why she ended things. If she won’t tell you or she blocks you, even if she later unblocks you, I’d just think she’s probably not that interested, respect that, leave her alone and find someone else who reciprocates your feelings.

Why? What is the necessity in doing that? If she were to tell you she’s doing well, would you just be like ‘alright I was just checking in, see ya’? Doubtful. If she responded sounding anything other than flat, you’d try to spark up a conversation and get the ball rolling. It’s been 4 weeks, nothing has changed.
