Great date with woman, but no text from her yet?

I took a woman out on a date in the afternoon. I told her I’m busy at night, but I ended up cancelling plans I had at night because of other reasons, so I thought she’d be able to hang out with me at night as well…

so she supposedly got “called into work” (which I think was a lie) while we were on our date

weird thing is we kissed a few times though, and she never texted me afterwards. Woman that show me interest are always texting me after dates. I only get silent woman after dates when we don’t kiss.

why would she kiss me and not even follow up? We even had a kiss goodbye - I already took her on a date and took my time to take her out - I also feel insulted she bailed early cause of “work” but I did tell her I can only chill in the afternoon. So she must have made some plans. I’ve never had this happen before.

I don’t want to text her cause she bailed early, she should make it up by apologizing and following up? Any thoughts or experiences on this?

I wouldn't play games and make asssumptions. Text her and you will know how you stand (if she responds you may suggest another date which will tell you as well how you stand)

Yeah I figured I should - I’ll just drop a follow up text two days after our date and leave the ball in her court. I thought I’ve seen every thing with dating / dates but always something new happens. This is a first, haha ty

well a lot of women expct men to always initiate (fyi im not one of them) so you know... also she might have not lying and just expect you to reach out, althought if you're gut feeling is good it shouldn't be ignored... if she is a bitch well then you are better off without her anyways... good luck!

Haha before she cut the date short she texted a little on her phone (which was also rude) although we weren’t talking much when she did it… I’ve never been called into work through texting, that’s where the fishy behavior I feel comes in. I swear I’m so burned on the dating app already, sometimes it’s nice to take long breaks from dating / focus on money and life goals. So I figured I don’t lose if I don’t get a response cause it’s not like I’m that emotionally invested (which I had to practice not to care / let woman come to me)

Reaching out once to her should be more than enough of my initiative if she’s down, much appreciated

Yes reaching out once is totally enough. I completely get u about dating apps as im in that boat myself. I also treat every Experience as learning Experience, and as u mentioned from just recenty to not GET too excited about any guy. by the way i do GET Texts from boss about going to work but that would be rare ocasion.

Yeah amen - I don’t get guys who text more than once any ways. That’s a red flag / turns me off when woman text me again if I don’t respond. Sometimes I’m into a woman and I swear, her double texting lowers my attraction / almost can make me bail on her completely at times. I’ll drop her a text later n see what happens - ty
