Why do girls self sabotage themselves after a break up?

She cut her hair off, started drinking (she can't drink), not showing up to work, and is completely destroying herself.

I get heart break sucks, but she dumped me lol. It's safe to say I didn't do shit to her

Why is cutting hair perceived as a bad thing? lol I think the rest of what you mentioned can lead to self sabotage however cutting hair shouldn’t have been added into that scenario

She cut it all off. She now has the same haircut she told me she had when she was dating girls. She even called it the "lesbo cut"
So she's sabotaging by no longer wanting to look attractive to men. Which she does not.

No, she did it on purpose. She knows exactly what she's doing.
Her hair was so beautiful, but now she looks like a 12 year old boy.
Very few men find that attractive and she knows it.
She told me that herself a long time ago

@asker you thought her long was beautiful but I think if someone is only cutting their hair after a break up , that’s the least to worry about. The other behaviors are problematic but those behaviors aren’t limited to break ups - that’s how they overall deal with hardships which is problematic

Focus on self growth , whether you were the issue or not, I think every situation there’s something to learn about yourself. What she chooses to do is her problem and how she chooses to handle things like this is her issue to learn and change
