Why are girls "allowed" to overthink things, but men aren't?

You see it all the time

People telling men not to overthink it. Heck, the girl I like, even told me once "don't over think it"

Yet you see girls on here, asking things like "why did he laugh at my joke"

Everyone pokes fun at men to cover their insecurities even men poke fun at other men, society says were suppose to be solid like a rock even when there's no way to learn this "solidness" unless your dad taught you, you work around men, or do tough hobbies like martial arts.

Allowed is the wrong word. Women almost always overthink things. Men don't. It's how Mother Nature built us.

I think everyone is allowed to analyze what they want to understand. I dont think anyone can tell you that you can't. Whatever you have questions about, you should ask. Thats the way to find out what you want to know.
