Sometimes when I'm walking down town, I notice women and younger girls staring at me with wide-open eyes and frowns on their faces.
Why is that?
For more info about me, I'm very tall, have short wavy brown hair, white and wear alternative clothes.
I have a oval face, large forehead, beady eyes, dimple cheeks, large crooked nose and round jaw.
I'm pretty baby-faced.
What Girls Said
If people are wide-eyed and frowning that's generally a negative reaction. If people react this way regularly, you're probably acting or dressing in a way that makes them uncomfortable, confused, etc.
I just walk past them, minding my business.
Also, my i often wear plaid shirts, graphic tees and cargo trousers whenever I'm out and about.
I even got a girl making a wide-eyed, frowning face at me when I was just sitting down at the fountain in the town centre, scrolling on my phone.
Look I don't know what to tell you. It sounds like a negative reaction, but having never seen or met you, or without any knowledge of the community you live in, I can't even begin to guess.
Also, the "people" who give me these looks are mostly women.
I got that. But like I said, I'm really not clear on the specific context, so I can't tell you what's behind it. If it's something subtle or based on differences between you and your community, it'd be hard for me to say even if you gave me details since they're would be nothing out of the ordinary anyway from your perspective.
