Girls, do you mind compliments from strangers?

I like compliments but I know who they come from means the most to me. Some older lady told me I was pretty once, then you have some b*tches who give compliments just to be shady so if it’s from another woman I tend to side eye…some guy at the gym says he appreciates my work ethic at the gym and that made my day..

Vs. some other dude at the gym who said he’s been watching me for quite some time and named my whole gym routine back to me and that creeped me out.

I tend to only appreciate compliments from older people, and little children lol.

Yeah, it really depends on the compliments and how they say it, the possible intention behind it. Most of the ones I've received came from a good place and were very nice, from all genders. I also like to give strangers compliments. But others were borderline creepy and came usually from guys and made me just want to rip my skin off in ribbons.

Depends on the compliment. If it’s a compliment on my hair, fashion style, etc, then no I don’t mind. I welcome those compliments! But compliments that sexualise me, like complimenting my ass or boobs, yes I do mind and it makes me feel gross.

Tbh i hate myself for posting a lot of my photos on GAG and all that. I do it because i love how i turned out on that picture etc etc but i still get a bit annoyed with myself..

Irl i wouldn't talk to men or women that easily but mostly men because i do talk with women. I just consider it weird to talk to strangers except if it's your colleague or classmate.

Depends on the delivery. If it is a nice genuine compliment of course, anyone would be flattered. But if it is a overly sexual comment with the tongue licking and eye fucking then no thank you. I don't particularly like that.

a don't mind it at all i give comments to men in pubs if i hink there hot smile at men passing by when am sitting out in the sun on a walk on a day out if i think there attractive so i dont mind them from them

No strings attached, random sincere compliments? Absolutely love them.. It depends on the context, content and delivery. Some are flattering and some are humiliating and threatening.

it depends on how it is said, if it is said during small talk then it will be perceived positively. if a girl is walking by then the compliment may be considered cat calling and inappropriate
