Why do I get so shy around boys?

I can be around and talk to pretty much any girl just fine but when im around it talk to boys (esp at school) I get so shy and quiet for no reason and 1000x more self conscious…like im constantly fixing my hair, clothes etc.. why do I do that and how do I get over that?

How do you get over it? Well, after you start losing one boy after another to women who are less lazy, you'll either stop being lazy and get in the game, or you won't, and you be alone. But it doesn't stop them from telling guys whatever they think they need to to get a desired result.

To overcome any fear or shyness is to expose yourself more to that
So try being around boys more (Don't get me wrong here lol) (More like in a friendly way)

Because you are probably at the age where you are taking interest in boys and you are concerned how they perceive you and then for being shy you probably aren't too sure what to say or how to react to one of them taking an interest in you. Does that sound about right? As for how to get over that you need to build confidence. Only you can do that. You need to take baby steps and slowly open up yourself to conversation maybe with a guy friend. You'll soon find that it is not all that hard or bad.
