At first I had no idea what she was knocking for but I’ve seen her knock on my other roommates door to ask him to help her set up her room which I found odd but, like at least text first? He might be busy.
so I assumed it was knocking for something she wanted like that so I ignored it. I was trying to sleep. I figured she would go away after a few knocks instead she started banging on my door louder and more

just wondering if I should expect her to bang on my door in the future over the silliest reasons? Like is this something I need to get used to?

Your roommate will soon understand that living in an environment where people share stuff is different from home. She will learn how to properly behave and be polite, because otherwise, she won't be able to live there. When i was a student, there were 5 of us sharing a room of 15x20 feet and we had set rules:

- who cleans room and when

- what to do

- what not to do

- when to wash dishes after yourself and when not

- when its time to sleep, etc

As soon as you set these rules and adhere to them, everything will be ok. Set the rules first. If someone didn't adhere to teh rules everune set, he received punishment. This is how it works.
