How to deal with a rude roommate?

My roommate all of sudden became extremely rude to me last week as well as our landlord (who I like). I blocked him on my phone so I don’t have to see his rude texts anymore. I still have to bump into him in the house though whenever we’re both getting something from the fridge. How can I deal with him? He’s moving in a 3-4 weeks so there’s that but I wish I would be gone now. And no I have no intention of moving I like where I live.

Part of what’s bothering me is that I feel like he was rude to me but I didn’t want to cause a situation so I just ignore him. But what I’d really like to do is call him out for being an asshole and have him be forecibly removed by our landlord.

Make peace with him

Stone cold ignore him

Call him an ass to his face and get it out of my system.

Have our landlord force him out early

Throw away some of his stuff to give him a hard time

Hog up the kitchen frequently so I have the upper hand constantly

This morning he made a mess on the kitchen counter. I pushed all his stuff into the corner. I wanted to write a sticky note but then decided not to. He should be able to get the message.

Now he’s drunk ranting in the kitchen at 12 am screw this guy I can’t wait till he leaves

I learned more why my roommate is mad at me. Someone took a picture of his car and sent it to the landlord and she told him to move it. My roommate thinks I did it but I didn’t. Well anyways I told him that I didn’t do it so that’s that. I tried to make my peace so I did my part. I hope he can accept it and that’s that.

Be grateful he’s leaving. Avoid conflict, it will only make matters worse. Sounds like he’s dealing with his own turmoil. Doesn’t mean he has to put it on everyone else, but that is his choice.

You blocked me because I said I dislike dogs. Why are you so sensitive about dogs? I do not like them they always bark around me and make a ruckus around me for no reason. I think civilized people do not need to have dogs. Dogs are unintelligent and cause messes I don’t see a need for them for intelligent people

If I blocked you I doubt it was for that. I only block rude and or hateful people. Perhaps you mentioned animal abuse, that’s also a biggie for me.

Well yes a few times I was drunk and advocated silencing dogs around me with violence. I don't condone violence in my sober state but I still express my dislike of them regardless
