+1 yBig plus. The saying "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach," never gets old.
Food is a bigger issue for men because they need more of it. It is second only to sex which is also a bigger deal for men. If you can keep him happy in both of those departments, you are ahead of the game.
Women have their departments too. So men would do well to focus on those if they want a successful relationship.

Yes, the fact that the modern woman, especially GenZ women can't cook for shit is one of the reasons men are losing interest in relationships. It's been scientifically proven that men get attached to women who can cook more than to women who can't. Nature did that and no amount of woke feminism or man-shaming will change it.

My nieces are mostly like this. They hate to cook and even clean. They got this from their mother. But I was raised by a mother who cooked often, and so did all of our aunts - it was just common. Women knew how to cook and if not, that was NOT a good thing. The way attitudes have shifted in society have ruined home life for BOTH genders. Do women like to paint the house, replace a tire? Throw out the trash? I can go on. Life was easier for men and women back in the day without a doubt. Get me a time machine, lol.
- +1 y
I have fonder memories and had better sex with my ex's who could cook compared to those who didn't. Also every ex I had who said things like "I dont cook, I'm on one's slave" was trash in bed and were generally miserable as people. I'm a guy who can cook and clean and play housewife to a women - with no issues or hit to my ego - but I'll never date a woman who can't do housework again, ever.
- +1 y
It's NOT about being a 'slave' and hey, don't we couple up to provide each other with love, comfort and support? Making sure that person had a nice meal does not make me a slave, it makes me just a caring person. And if I'm sick in bed, will a guy bring me some soup and tea? All the same, just basic common courtesy and two people treating each other well. When my daughter ended up in the hospital once, I cooked food literally every day and took it to her.
I am bored of eating food at the restaurant and ordering online. I still love healthy home made food. I like women who can cook food at home. Home made food gives me more satisfaction than restaurant's food or fast food. Women look so cute when they cook, clean and breastfeed babies. Unfortunately, modern women hate to be housewives, cook, clean and raise kids. What about love, husband, companionship, intimacy, making babies and creating a family? Aren't those important to modern women?
22 Reply- +1 y
Yes. My daughter and I order out, so do my mother and brother. But at some point, we all like a variety. Ordering out is easy, and sometimes it is fun. But I'd much rather have the house smell all yummy and cook something on my stove more often than ordering out. I find that people in my family always enjoy the home cooked meals more than the ones we ordered on an app.
I also found ways to lessen the clean up after cooking. Paper plates are GREAT sometimes, lol.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yAbsolutely! I would love to meet a woman who can cook well, but sadly it seems they are rare today. It's not that I want a woman to cook for me. I cook very well myself, I just want a woman who shares my passion for eating and creating good food. I just can't seem to find any who know how to do much more than boil water.
To me there is nothing more attractive in a woman than knowing how to cook well and enjoying cooking to show her love for her family. You are a catch for sure.

Thanks so much :)
I'm sure you'll come across some nice chick who's into cooking.
+1 yAbsolutely. The ones that donāt, arenāt likely going to do much of anything else either.
I do the cooking/baking for me and my girlfriend. I am a vegetarian so I can be picky about what I eat. I do all the housework and outdoor work too. The inside work is so much easier.13 Reply- +1 y
I can't understand ANY woman who doesn't like to keep a clean house. Sure, we all slack off sometimes, but then most people will get back on it and maintain it. I personally LOVE having things looking pretty around the house, decorating is really a pleasure and most of the women I know live for that stuff, lol.
I'd find it harder to cook for a vegetarian, but I'm sure that I could learn if I had to. I don't make fish, but salads and veggies are probably your go-to meals. - +1 y
Me neither. I love decorating and fixing things and building stuff.
Fish isnāt even close to vegetarian. Salads arenāt really my thing. Veggies are ok but arenāt filling enough. - +1 y
I'd agree. I can't see a 'meal' being made up of veggies alone. It's kinda like a snack, celery sticks or carrots lol

+1 yI gotta admit that I do get a little bit turned on when I know a woman can cook. I'm a decent cook, myself, so I guess it's not that big of a deal, but it's just kinda hot to know that I can let her into my kitchen and not be scared about the potential results.
20 Reply 4.3K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I can cook, so it's not an issue. Instead, what I look at it what she eats to see if there is enough overlap between the two of us.

u +1 yYes, I very much like a woman who enjoys nesting and being a nurturer. I can cook and bake fairly well but I love having a woman who does that as well.
10 Reply Iām not sure to be honest. Iām an average cook at best. It never stopped me from attracting men that are great cooks that will cook for me instead.
10 ReplyIt is an important quality. I know some women that don't know how to cook and are not interested in it. Their relationships didn't last. My wife is a good cook and so am I. She likes that quality in me as well. It gives her a break from cooking and I like to make fancy gourmet meals. I will spend hours finding the right recipe and making sure dinner is a treat.

I wasn't all that as a cook when I was younger but I saw loads of cooking in my house growing up. Eventually it rubbed off and cooking is a big deal for me many times a week :)

I agree :)

- +1 y
@PrettyCrumblBb Good Lord, how immature. Are you assuming that me not being married isn't out of choice?
- +1 y
Yes it's not out of choice since you are asking if men like women that can bake and cook. You are clueless to what men like and they can sense that.
- +1 y
@PrettyCrumblBb Clueless? WTF, the question is there to spark a decent convo on the subject. Apparently, lots of people here that it is a good topic. I know men but I don't know EVERY man and so hearing the opinions from MEN here is nice. I like it when a man can cook and I cook, too, it is a nice bonus on both sides.
Probably. I would like if she baked as I don't so much. I do cook and would prefer to cook for or with her than her for me.
10 ReplyI guess a little, but it's not something that I would put on my list of things that I am looking for in a partner.
