Why do women hate older men?

Once a guy hits 30 it's usually impossible for him to get a girlfriend because he is balding and ugly. And if he doesn't have money completely screwed.

It depends on what kind of girl he's looking for. If he's over 30 and looking for a 22 year old, it might be a challenge, mostly because of personality/generational differences. But it's certainly not impossible. A lot of girls like older men.

And most men don't start falling apart after 30. Not at all, unless they have an unhealthy lifestyle. There are men in their 50s and even 60s who look damn good. Look at some of the male movie stars - Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves, Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Sean Bean, Jason Statham, Gerard Butler, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Ewan McGregor, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Isaacs, Hugh Jackman, and even guys like Sam Elliot, Michael Douglas, Tom Selleck, Timothy Dalton, Colin Firth, and Pierce Brosnan.

I had girlfriends from the time I was 16. Then I had about a five year dry spell because of a new job and complete change in lifestyle. As a result of several factors, I gained about 50 lbs from about age 29 to 34. I didn't like myself and didn't want the kind of girl who would want me. When I was 34, I went on Weight Watchers, lost the weight and got back in really good shape.

At that point, I met a 32 year old woman. She was gorgeous. We practically lived together for almost a year, but it turned out that she had psychological issues and had misled me.

Next, I met a 30 year old when I was 36. She was also gorgeous. Actually, she was my idea of the feminine ideal. She was also hypersexual and orgasmic.
We wound up living together for over a year. She's the first girlfriend I ever fell completely in love with and she loved me. Unfortunately, we weren't able to spend the rest of our lives together and had to separate. It's complicated.

I met my next girlfriend when I was 40. She was 2.5 years younger. She was also very attractive. I wound up marrying her 2 years later and we've been happily married now for almost 26 years.

I don't find that once a man hits 30 he falls apart. That might happen with men who are clueless about taking care of themselves. Hair is not a requirement. But ugly? People don't "turn" ugly. An attractive person remains attractive unless they're doing something odd to their bodies, such as drug addiction, a serious illness or becoming obese.

Wisdom and life experience usually improve people. I believe learning and getting along with folks makes a person MORE attractive. A lot of 20-somethings are impatient, and at that age assholery is tolerated in young men. If you're still acting that way at 35, you'll start losing ground, and friends.

I don't know where you got that idea, but it's false. Women outnumber men starting around age 40, so men actually have more options. Whether those options are good ones may be an entirely different story.

It's the truth. Most women don't like older guys and call them creepy all the time. Tell yourself whatever you want to cope, but it's reality.

Well, there are always going to be haters and, frankly, women saying these things about older guys are often mentally ill or just clueless ugly hags, and they are not in the majority. Guys don't magically turn ugly once they hit 30.

I couldn't care less if some woman thinks I'm ugly.

To answer the question... for the same reason men do this to women. They feel most men stop being attractive after a certain age.
