Well they don't. First and foremost, what is stated is that if you just jump from guy to guy living a life of pleasure and using your looks to get what you want, that is when you hit the wall. If you actually make yourself valuable and an attractive mate, then it won't matter because you have a solid relationship with your partner and getting older doesn't matter.
As for men aging, sure, but they peak later then women do, this is a reality. You doln't get to be fine with women maturing faster then men (physically anyway) and then bitch and moan when that also means they peak sooner. Men don't get desirable till they are older generally speaking, women get less desirable as they get older, this is reality. So you can either just decide reality doesn't apply to you and hit that wall hard, OR you can make yourself some one who is valuable beyond your looks and who will utlimately make for a good wife and mother. The choice is yours, but if you do not choose life will choose for you and you will not like the results.
Society says old women are used up and a throwaway. But in reality, this is the society that has had men abuse women, force them into child marriages and sexualizing minors. Meanwhile they are old. So this type of thinking comes from an abusive perspective. When in fact, women are actually more confident when they are older- typically in their 30s. Even their sexual drive is better in their 30s. But also women are less likely to become manipulated at that age. This is a threat to that society that cannot deal with aging women. Women who start to actually think for themselves, become confident. Youth and beauty have always been desired. But I am also tired of living up to societies expectations. When will those expectations end? You can have plastic surgeries on your butt, on your face, on your lips. But will those things make things better? If the most beautiful celebrities can get cheated on, divorced, will continuing to chase beauty better your life? I'd rather be older and wiser than be older, caring too much what other people think. Trying too hard to follow trends. I'm satisfied with my age. I'm satisfied with myself. That is the threat to a beauty obsessed society.
Don’t worry this is just a short temporary trip called life we are here to learn and gain experience memories and contribute to the world. I’m not scared of hitting 35-40-59 anymore I’m scared of death meaning it might get me when I’m not ready. Don’t be fooled of age or man or beauty. It’s a distraction.. I used to think as you but I turned 30 it’s still me lol I realized days fly so quick. A year feels like a month now.. you will get to 30-40 so so so soon like a BLINK so worry more how to be happy with your own rules find your way. Yes treat your self better exercise etc but do it for YOU.
As a women I can give tips since you are in your 20S don’t do makeup at all concentrate more into caring about it rather than faking it / covering it. Look at Asian skincare.. better.
Do cardio 3x a week for 30 min and you will be ok.

The way it works in nature is that (essentially) women provide fertility and childcare, men provide food and resources to acquire more. This is a scare tactic that low value men use to get you to settle for their sub par offerings while you’re still young and dumb in their eyes.
These types don’t like older women because older women don’t fall for their lies or put up with their bullshit, bottom line.
It's not that they hate older women, it's that younger women have incredibly high value because of their ability to bear children, so women's value curve is extremely front-loaded along the age scale. Men are valued on different things - things they aren't usually born with and have to work hard to earn. That's why men's value in their teens and 20s is typically low, and also why they tend to start having real value around 30, once they've built some status and resources. Society doesn't hate old women, nature hates lazy women. Young women are their competition and a lot of the older ones were too lazy to develop things that can make them attractive when their looks fade like good character/personality/empathy. Secondly, a lot of women don't bother to really develop good lifestyles (regular exercise, eating right, skincare!)... this really bites them as they get older. A woman who took care of everything right can still look great long beyond the typical shelf life.
So you end up with a bunch of lazy old women who play victim and blame others for their mistakes. They say, "men don't want a woman my age" when the truth is that she doesn't have anything to offer due to her own bad choices.

It's not that society hates old women in my opinion. I think that some women put off things like getting married and having families until much later in life and at that point they can't find a mate to start a family with.

The best tip I can give you is never stop working on your marriage. It is the #1 priority in your life, even greater than your children in my opinion. If there's no parental unit, the family will fall apart. Never stop dating your spouse, never stop the spontaneity.
I'm not sure that society hates old women. Our society tends to disregard old people in general. Older women (35+) are less attractive and are most likely jealous that guys are attracted to younger girls. If she hasn't developed any skill in life (many girls depend on their looks for value) then she doesn't have any value to society at large. She will only have value to her family at that point if she has developed house skills.
As a side note, men don't age as harshly as women do. Only some men get erectile dysfunction. Important to realize it's inevitable for everyone to become useless at some point. The youth nowadays tend to be spoiled brats with no respect for elders (although sometimes this is for good reason).

I don't believe society is bad to old women but I'm not an old woman either. Also 30 isn't hitting the wall haha. Although when I was between your age I felt like 30 was old. When you get there you'll notice it's not.

Not always the case but it depends.
In the cases where it is the case they are passed their child bearing prime and many of them seem like a burden. Unfortunately it requires a good life to age gracefully and women who are bitter and carry bitter thoughts and bitter ideas are avoided by their family unless they have money or something to inherit.
