I like a girl at work (don't get started on that). We've had many good interactions but the past 6 months or so. It has gone by abit slowly since we rarely see eachother or get a chance to chat. But even though we are both shy, especially her, she has started to initiate conversation. Things like, waving and say hi, and how are you. Before i get a chance to say it, which i feel is good progress.
Is this a good sign she likes me too?

I would say yes in general that is a good sign. The reason I say that is because you said she was shy. If she wasn't shy I would probably say she is just being friendly to coworkers because saying hi and waving and stuff like that is pretty normal. The fact that she is shy and directing it towards you makes me think there is a greater chance she might have a thing for you. If you are seeing steady progress of her opening up then I would take all of those things as good signs.
I had a work romance that started very similar to how you're describing what you're going through. We rarely worked side by side but would occasionally see each other. Then she would say "hi" in passing, which eventually led to us stopping in the hall and talking for a few minutes. Then after a few months, she would start coming into our break area at the end of the day to talk. I would actually stay late to wait for her or she would stay late until I got there but we knew we would see each other. Eventually I asked her out. While I write this, it takes me back to a really nice memory.
Sure it’s good. She may be introverted and only opens up when people direct their attention towards her. I am typically the same way.
