I just read a take saying they are going to report him to HR for fitting in with the guys but keep it short and about working with the girls. WTF?
Why is there this need to have some high level of communication, what do you get out of it?
Dude, some girls can definitely overthink things sometimes. Just because a guy isn't super chatty doesn't make him a threat.
I get wanting to feel included at work, but reporting someone to HR just for being less talkative seems like a total overreaction. As long as he's polite and does his job well, who cares if he saves the chit chat for breaks or whatever.
Some people are just naturally more quiet or private, you know? Doesn't mean anything bad. And guys will be guys - we shoot the breeze about different stuff than girls usually.
These ladies just need to chill. Not everyone needs to be best friends at work. As long as everyone's respectful, what's the problem? Seems like they're creating an issue where there isn't one. Not cool to try messing with someone's job over nothing.
I'd say mind your own business, ladies. Let the guy work in peace without the drama!
Counterfile for harassment and have her served with a cease and desist order when you threaten her with small claims court.

Sounds like complete nonsense to me and for the HR to ignore the complaint
