Guys, do you tend to like “loud girls”or seemingly “quiet” girls?

I talked amongst my friends and it was deemed that loud girls who are more talkative regardless of attractiveness tend to get more attention from guys than girls who appear quiet. Do you as men agree? It would be interesting to hear how girls feel about the “competition”.

That’s a good question. Hmm.


I like girls to be expressive, because it makes them more interesting, and fun to be around.


And that, by nature, requires them to have a minimum level of ‘loudness’ and outgoingness.


However, I also enjoy it when a girl knows how to chill and be laidback too.


Especially if I had a stressful day at work or something, super high energy isn’t the best for helping me relax.


My fiancée is able to ebb and flow between the two, she matches my energy and bounces off of me energetically.


I suppose I like a girl to be able to do both, haha.


There’s a time for high energy and enthusiasm; there’s a time for calm energy and relaxation.

When I was younger though, I was more attracted to loud. As I got older, I’ve come to appreciate the calm more.

I agree! Both could be energetic, it might just be their style of energy as a quiet/loud girl.

My hypothesis was that younger guys would be more attracted to louder girls and as they get older it may change to quiet girls.

@Lovelailaxo Yeah, I think so. Like when I was in high school, the more excitement, the better. Quiet was almost boring.

But, as I got older, as I developed more intellectually and emotionally, I’ve come to appreciate calmness and depth.

Like it’s not all about fun anymore. It’s about depth of connection. It’s about real talk. It’s about those still intimate moments.

Perhaps that’s a part of it — romance. Things are more romantic when they can slow down, to be in the present.

Things like that, which we don’t fully understand or appreciate as much when we’re younger.

Women who are more talkative tend to be more welcoming, because they're comfortable with people but also comfortable with themselves around people. Not sure if she exactly has to be loud to be this way, but definitely for me a woman who is somewhat talkative makes me feel a lot more comfortable around her.

With quiet women you just never know what she's up to or what's going on with her. You don't know if she's just shy by nature or is autistic and might snap or something if you try talking to her. And you're also not sure if her being quiet is her just waiting for you to speak to her so she can complain about it and say you were trying to do something.

In my opinion not really. I find a more vocal female is usually more open about things and you don’t have to pry things out of them. But some quiet girls are the freakiest and more sexually active. I love a woman that’s not afraid to tell you what they want

Yeah I guess it just depends, both have attractive qualities and depends on the type of woman you’d like to be with. They both could be confident but it’s indiviso preference if you’d like her to be way more vocal about it in a sense.

I like a girl to be herself. So if she's loud then fuck it she's loud. But being quiet is cool. However that probably won't work out for me. Because I'd probably end up saying huh, what, say again, I didn't hear you what?, what did you say? 🤨

Somewhere in the middle, like hyper and talkative but with a cute voice so even when loud she doesn't really sound loud.

Girls who have a commanding presence, knowledgeable and wise. Less is more. Loud and proud aren't necessarily attractive.

Cheerful is fine but too loud is not good.
