Example: I noticed a usually very warm and friendly female coworker at my new job (who is a good colleague of my supervisor and maybe crushing on him, he definitely is attracted to her) being a bit standoffish to me and avoiding eye contact with me during conversation even though she tends to stare people in the eyes like a psycho.

I also noticed at university girls in lectures glancing repeatedly at me even though I look completely normal. Why do they act like this? I’m not even attractive to men so why do they bother looking at me?

you have a very strong impression of what things are, of people, and want to judge ever single action and label it as this is this and that means that. No, that's not how it is.

someone could be jealous of you and act completely normal that nobody would ever notice, just the same someone could appear to be jealous of you and probably just doesn't like you and not jealous at all.

for me in particular there are some people I can look in the eyes normally and not feel uncomfortable or anything, and I do try to do that as it 's out of courtesy to do so we are taught at a small age, BUT THEN there are also some people I can't quite look at for a long time if they're talking, and I have to look away, it doesn't always imply that I like them, it doesn't imply that I'm jealous, it doesn't imply anything other than there was a reason I just didn't keep eye contact. If there's someone I don't like for whatever reason, they definitely will not have my complete attention. There are girls that stare at me and if I have to talk to them face to face I tend to break eye contact because wtf are they looking at me for? I don't assume they are jealous or something but it just makes me uncomfortable like if we're talking and they're just staring at every part of my face and you can tell where their eyes go like they look at your hair, your forehead, your lips, that's really uncomfortable I don't care if it's just admiration I don't like it and I will break eye contact and even move my head so whatever they are looking at is out of sight even for a moment.

Is it possible you look familiar to them, like someone famous, or like someone in the media? Or if you have a unique look.. There really isn't usually a reason for people to be staring or glancing over repeatedly otherwise. I mean, if you're not doing crazy things at a party the night before, or doing anything that would call attention to yourself. As for the one girl who won't make eye contact with you, ... I can say that actually happened to me once by another woman. I can validate you in that it was pretty weird, and it felt like a big snub. So weird. I was already about 33 years old, and the woman was a few years older, and we were in a group meeting.. it was my first time at the meeting, and she was sitting across from me at a small table. When I spoke, I looked at her because she was across from me, but she looked down the hole time, not at a phone, just at the table.. she never looked at me the whole time. Like, everybody knows that meme where they'll call a hot chick that walks in the room a bitch and then when she gets close enough for ears to hear, she'll give that same woman a compliment. I feel like I would need more information to give a helpful answer, there are so many possibilities. Do you have any clothing, jewelry, tattoos, hair color, piercings or anything that somebody might react to good or bad? Do you have any kind of look that someone would call "striking" whether good or bad, for example goth? Do you dress much more formally or much less formally than most people in your environment? Are you unusually tall or unusually short for your environment? Are you a member of an ethic group rarely seen in the area? Things like that.
