Girls, how do you go about snagging a boyfriend?

I met mine online. My profile was straight forward about what I wanted, what my end goal was, and what my values were. He reached out first and I responded. He thought I was pretty and liked what I said on my profile. I thought he was cute and noticed we shared similar values. We messaged back and forth until I asked if he wanted to exchange numbers. We texted a lot and then he asked if we could talk on the phone. We had nightly phone calls that would last for hours. We talked about family, our childhood, likes and dislikes, and kept small talk to a minimum.
I asked him if he would be interested in doing a Bible study as a way to get to know one another, he loved the idea. He had a devotional he wanted to share with me, and I was more than happy to listen to him read to me. We shared things that stood out to us in our readings.
We realized early on that we had feelings for each other. He was eager to meet me and booked a flight to come see me. He asked if we could start dating with marriage in mind. He plans to propose next October.

What's the point in TELLING YOU that he PLANS to propose at a future date? If you already know he's gonna ask, why not answer him now? Isn't TELLING YOU he's gonna ask the same as asking?

He already knows my answer because we are both certain that marriage is where we are heading, but we’ve only known each other for a short time. We are very certain of one another, but there’s no need to scare our families by becoming engaged quickly. He still wants to ask my dad’s permission and save for a ring, so we agreed he would officially ask me in October.

Yeah, that and, they feel that she's soooo pretty that she MUST already HAVE a boyfriend and several more waiting their turn so, he won't even bother trying because he won't even stand a chance! I call it, PGS; Pretty Girl Syndrome. She's so pretty, it keeps guys from even bothering to ask her for a date.

The one I have now I snagged by smiling at him almost every morning on the sidewalk as I walked to work. Eventually we’d say “good morning”, then one day he stopped and introduced himself.

That sounds kinda like how I met Amy Wrightmeyer. I saw her drive past my house and that she was gorgeous and, once she turned in the alley beside the next house, I knew the only way out was to go around the block and come out past my house, again so, as soon as she turned into the alley, I started walking around the other side of the block to get another look at her. We met at the opposite corner and she asked me where a certain address was. It was my next door neighbor's house so, I told her and she drove over and I went back home. After she did what she went there for (getting the apartment they had for rent), she came back out and smiled at me. A few days later, she was moved in and I was sitting on the porch and she walked past my place to get to hers and smiled at me and even came up on the porch to talk to me! We sat and talked for a good while and then we both went inside our places to eat and, from that day onwards, every time she'd walk past the house from work, she'd spend at least an hour sitting on the porch swing with me, talking with me and playing backgammon with me.
